Glen Junction (on 16/302 in Glen - across from Dunkin' Donuts)
The pancakes and train-fries are a must for breakfast.

Moat Mountain Smokehouse (Just north of Ledgewood Dr. on Rt 16)
Gourmet meets Brew-pub. An interesting, diverse menu.
(Be sure to tell them I sent you, they live next door to the ski house!)
 
Horsefeathers (center of North Conway)
A friendly, casual restaurant and bar. Wide selection of food & drinks.
Live entertainment upstairs (weekends?)
The Flatbread Company  Located at the Eastern Slope Inn (home of EMS too)
Tasty pizzas with all-natural ingredients. 
Also located there is Rinaldi's Gelato - good stuff.
 
Delany's (Just north of the center of N. Conway on Rt 16)
Good steaks, pasta, fish & chips, etc.  Great Onion Rings!
 
Margarita Grill (Rt 16 in Glen/Bartlett)
Mexican/Tex-Mex
 
Scarecrow Pub (Rt 16/302 between North Conway & Bartlett)
Reasonably priced, good variety, lots of pub-food (appetizers).

Stonehurst Manor (Just north of Ledgewood Dr. on Rt 16)
An elegant setting and excellent food. Dinner for two anywhere from $30 to $100. Oddly enough, they also have the best pizza around...

Wildcat Inn & Tavern (Rt 16A, Jackson Village)
Gourmet cuisine in the dining room, or something less formal in the tavern.

The Spicy Lime: A newcomer to "the strip" - about 1 mile south of N. Conway center.
Excellent Thai Cuisine. Fresh, well-prepared meals. Good assortment of rice, noodles, and stir-fried dishes.
 
Lobster Trap (West Side Road, North Conway)
Plenty of good seafood and lobsters galore.
Early bird specials
Bellini's  (33 Seavy St. - in the center of North Conway)
I haven't tried them yet, but I've heard it's a good place for Italian

Surprisingly good little pizza place in the middle of the outlets.

Merlino's Steak House (Hard to miss - large cow on the top of their sign)
Haven't tried it yet, but some previous guests seemed to like it.

30 miles of beautiful driving. Trails and picnic areas along the way as well.
 
Saco River
Swimming, Tubing, Kayaking, Canoeing - Try Northern Extremes for rentals
 
Polar Caves - About an hour from N. Conway
Also check out Clark's Trading Post and the Flume Gorge if down this way

My personal favorite. Beautiful views, great trails.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Shawnee Peak 30 minutes
Bretton Woods 45 minutes
Sunday River 1 hour

Quaint, romantic spot with sleigh rides & ice skating
Rt 16a in Jackson
Great Glenn Trails
Cross Country skiing, snow tubing, winter sight seeing
Rt 16, Pinkham Notch north of Jackson
King Pine Ski Area
Very small ski area.  Good if you're just learning how to ski or have small kids.  Inexpensive and they have night skiing.
30 minutes
South of Conway on Rt. 153 in Freedom NH.
